[Boomerang Chang]

I would give this three stars, if it allowed firing to the left, and catching the boomerangs, rather than being killed by them. This game is simply too frustrating to play for more than five minutes.

Fun game.

Personally though, I would prefer to play as a pothead and shoot furry zombies.

Now that's a game, by God.

I love this, it brings back a little bit of that spark I used to get from Newgrounds earlier in the decade. Nostalgia aside, it's also a seriously well-done Flash game.

Urrrrrrrrrgh.

The last few matches are just too one-sided. A large part of developing an enjoyable computer opponent in a fighting game is giving them a flawed, human quality, not just designing it to dodge or block at the exact moment a key is pressed, with a higher dodge rate with each successive match.

That being said, the rate at which the computer dodges never reaches 100%, so it is possible, if not very fun, to defeat, assuming you never skip a beat on your own dodges. However, this is not always the case, either! I noticed several instances where the CPU opponent would stab me as I was dodging, and many times my knife went right through them without doing a bit of damage!

Horifically frustrating at times, but a well-animated, moderately fun game.

Excellent quiz game!

This was a lovely trip down memory lane... I missed a couple in the first three rounds (I said 1943 instead of 42 XP), but it didn't really get challenging until the last round. Gumshoe? Hogan's Alley? Ugh. Nice work!

At long last, one of the very greatest games in the history of NG makes it into the Portal. Let me tell you, I couldn't be happier. You made this in Flash 3 seven years ago, and it continues to corrupt our youth to this day! Simply awe-inspiring.

Simple, yet effective!

The gameplay is short and simple, but it's a hell of a lot of fun! It's senseless violence like this that makes Newgrounds so great. It plays well, and MindChamber's animation is excellent.

It would be nice to add a button command that allows you to change directions while firing, though. Oh, and Nene looks strangely like an elf. :)
